So we went out to the TAS dark sky site outside of Atoka, OK last night. We had a blast, the stars were beautiful, and the new telescope worked wonderfully. It was a short night because the moon came up a little after 10:00 or so, but I managed to bag M28 and M55 with it. They looked great!

We’ll definitely be heading back out, and Joi’s going to have a pair of binoculars to do a little of her own observing.
